Hi. I’m a guy. I’m in my 20’s. I go to university to study music. I also have autism.

I started this blog because I have always been able to communicate better in writing than I can with spontaneous speech. The processing that it takes to recognize what the other person is saying combined with what it takes to formulate my own reply is sometimes much too hard to manage. But if I can type, I can express to you my heart.

Autism is sometimes misunderstood, and my own diagnosis is still somewhat new and unexplored to me, so this blog might be a journey for both of us.

Thanks for reading.

  1. Wonderful blog…
I am wondering… are you on Twitter??? If not, I encourage you to join and you will find a whole community of people who are supportive and will also be interested in your perspective and your voice.

  2. Hi, I’ve just discovered your blog and am impressed. A lot of what you’ve written sounds very much like myself. I was diagnosed when I was 50!! Keep up the good work. Ian.

  3. This site is a fortuitous discovery for me – since I’m self diagnosed at a much later stage in life (aged 60+). My Asberger is not classical or typical and the bipolar is Bipolar II, or as I call it, “Bipolar Lite.” All in all, it has not been a “winning combination” — I’m simply glad to be in communication with others struggling with the same feelings.

  4. Post / comments are old, so don’t know if your blog is “abandoned.” I’m bipolar and Asperger (I won the mental health lottery!) and write a blog:
aspergerhuman.wordpress.com that mainly uses science to debunk and explain wrong info about ASD.

  5. Excellent im a musician and have 2 daughters with asd ! my eldest loves your blog!
